I was fortunate enough to work with Publix for twenty-five years, eventually serving as its VP of Human Resources. In this book, with the help of Publix customers and associates, I describe what it is that makes shopping and working at Publix a pleasure.
The book sold well when it came out. Individuals enjoyed the stories. Companies interested in Publix’s model of award-winning customer service bought lots of them, distributing them to their own employees. The book was out of print for many years, but as of January, 2018, it’s once again available at Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, and similar outlets.
